Continuation of Loetec's Railway Vehicle Technology Division
On July 7, 2026, Buck GmbH acquired the Railway Vehicle Technology division of Loetec Elektronische Fertigungssysteme GmbH, Wittenberg. As a result, Steven & Buck has taken over the spare parts inventory and all engineering drawings for Loetec products used in railway vehicles. We will ensure the continued availability of spare parts for Loetec-designed and manufactured windscreen wiper systems and rear-view mirrors, while also providing maintenance and repair services, particularly for wiper drive units.
Loetec Railway Technology – A Valuable Addition
Loetec Railway Technology is an excellent addition to our portfolio, as we already provide maintenance and overhaul services for all types of electrical machines used in railway vehicles. These include traction motors, traction generators, auxiliary generators, starter-generators, heating generators, fans, step and door drives, wiper drives, pumps, and other auxiliary drives.
At our two locations in Krefeld and Tecklenburg, we offer extensive in-house manufacturing capabilities, including our own winding shop, enabling us to deliver flexible, high-quality solutions.
